How did he know where the brush was? I'm guessing he has depth finder with sidescan.

You don't need a livescope to know what this is on downscan.



But livescope absolutely helps once you spot lock and your image begins to smear.

I'm all for livescope. It's been a thing for a few years now and the sacalait population isn't hurting. If anything it's helping remove more from the lake and putting more on the dinner table. Win/win.

I have an old Garmin 93sv that I’m not using. It has has side scan and down view. Can I put the transducer on a wand and turn it so the side scan is facing the front of the boat and sort of have a Livescope?
