re: Went to the Mall of Louisiana for the first time in years yesterday, here's my question:

Lakeside has somehow become what Esplanade was supposed to be. Probably because of simple geography being right off the causeway from the northshore and closer to most of the rest of the metro. Oakwood will hold on for a while also, being the most convenient mall for at least 300k people.

On a tangent, who remembers Belle Promenade being the go to mall on the westbank?
