At CB we have the guys to match up & cover (in no particular order):
Harris
Johnson
Chestnut
Alexander
Toviano
Welch
They need to understand their assignments and communicate. FSU will test them. A persistent pass-rush in the face of Travis will be essential to success.

The more reps this unit gets, the better they will be in 23.

That is all coach speak from Kelly. Did he not raid the portal for a bunch of CB last year, including our 2 starters Bernard-Converse from Okie St. and Garner from UL, plus all the backups.

The list up there is way stronger in talent than 2022 CB and there is a lot of experience.

I like Welch and Harris to start with Toviano and Ty first off the bench, then 3rd. string is Johnson who was a starter at Ohio State, and Deuce Chestnut who was a starter at Syracuse. That is a lot of talent! Then we have some talented freshmen.

Some of those guys play nickel, so I am not worried about the secondary because we also have 2 starters at Safety and Ryan and Matt L. off the bench and a couple of strong arse recruits. Our whole secondary will be fine
