So you left your boat without anchoring and then later ignored the weather moving in on you.

Can't the coast guard write tickets for that kind of negligence?

No. The boat was anchored and manned. The man on it couldn't get motor started. He didn't know about kill switch .

The boat stayed still the whole first rescue. What took so long was we had to tow jet ski back and trailer it and my friend got a warning for inspection sticker.
