It's borderline common knowledge that aftermarket day of tickets are the way to go for sporting events. There are exceptions but 99% of the time, even for the biggest events, this will give you the most flexibility and bang for your buck. People who lack an ability to 1) wait and/or 2)operate technology close to show time, pay the convenience tax.

To OPs side, LSU should offer the option to defer tickets in a certain section. Wouldn't be difficult but they also wouldn't sell through their alloted upper deck tickets.

Ruling is for OP. Trusted broker should not put ownership of shite on clients. No longer patron them for your business.
