Essentially for those who are unfamiliar, Jefferson County is Birmingham proper, where you'll find more liberal DAs, etc.
Shelby County is your rich,white flight County immediately south of Jefferson County.
Do note that the abductions, her parent's home, etc. while in Jefferson County, is very close to the Shelby County line.
So it is confirmed she was abducted? The article I read yesterday did not comment on anything other than she returned home. What happened to the child?

I'm pretty sure ECB meant the alleged abduction. He isn't saying it actually happened.
