Hoss, I’m a State Farm agent. We don’t do that. As a matter of fact, it’s illegal for me to pick a roofer and send them to a customers house.

I know you guys think everyone is out to frick you over, but that’s not the case.

Hoss, one of your agents in MS 1000% did exactly that. I didn’t dream this or make it up. This particular agent had insured my parents for years. The guy died and the agency was transferred, sold, or bequeathed to someone else. The new guy tried his hardest to keep my Mom from filing the claim.
Sorry to burst your bubble but not all State Farm agents are angels.

PS. When I was dealing with the 1-800 number State Farm people I informed them of this guys shenanigans. I don’t know if they pursued the issue bc we dropped them. I didn’t know it was illegal, if I had I would have reported to the insurance commissioner or AG or where ever you report insurance fraud.
