Those old Gulf States Conference rivalries were the best. Back in the seventies when USL played McNeese in Lake Charles, many visiting fans ate at Piccadilly on Ryan before the game.
One USL fan going down the line hollered to the manager “You have any specials today for us Bulldog fans?” The manager hollered back, “Yep, double price on everything!”
