Hey guys I’ve posted a few times and has been very helpful. Im looking for something in the Zachary/Ethel/Slaughter area. This will be my first house so don’t need anything fancy. I can see all of the typical online sight listings. I just wanted to reach out and see if there was anything available that yall knew about thanks!

Wish I could help, but I don't live near there. Good luck, buying your first home is an exciting adventure. If you haven't already, I'd get preapproved for a home loan and decide on what kind of money you want to spend.

I'm a real estate agent, while I'm not in that area I can help you get quality agents if you would like.

There is a lot to learn with buying and owning a home. It is a lifelong journey and you will never stop learning. Tackle problems one at a time, youtube is your friend.

For now, find out what you can actually afford. Then find a style you enjoy. You're going to spend six figures on this thing, you might as well enjoy living in the house. Then make sure you're buying in an area that generally appreciates well. That's more money in your pocket. You can find the sale history of a prospective home, and use that information to see about how much that home appreciates per year.

A ton of good info on youtube
