Any folks or their significant others found non-pharmaceutical relief re: night sweats / hot flashes? Thank you.

Try an ice bath. It will drop your core temp substantially. I just started a couple weeks ago. I say “ice bath” but mine is 51 degrees and I go 5 minutes every morning. Effects are noticeable 6-7 hours.

I've read evening primrose oil helps. I have been on estrogen for several years now so I never really had a significant issue with it.

Thank you…are you stuck taking estrogen for the remainder now? Wife is afraid she will have to stay on it if she starts.

I think the plan is to start coming off, but I'm not sure when. I've already been taking it for 6 years. I had a hysterectomy at 41 then started estrogen (hesitantly) at 44.

My wife cut out alcohol and spicy foods and this has helped reduce the amount of Hot Flashes and night sweats.

When she does have a glass of wine she typically experiences hot flashes shortly after.

10-4

My wife is on carnivore diet and doing great with energy and looks 10 years younger…just struggling with the hot flashes.

Will try evening primrose oil / fish oil.
