I'm hesitant to be too concerned with it. I mean, it's a summer ball team run by Ronnie Rantz in a pretty low tier league. It's entirely possible that the the level of professionalism with which the team is run was below what he was used to at both Barbe and LSU and he just didn't feel like dealing with it.

The best Rantz could offer Guidry was a Skip impression and Gavin said, “I’m out.”

Hopefully he gets in another league. You would like to see him get live game reps at 2B/SS and at the plate.
Unless they have decided that concentrating on putting on weight is more important and all his time will be to that and using the facilities at LSU to get in BP.

That actually makes most sense. I can’t see him going anywhere dude loves LSU he said multiple times in interviews and he was the last out for CWS. I don’t see him going anywhere with a better situation especially since JT is gone. I don’t think Braswell is it. Nippolt is great defender but Guidry upside is way higher. And knowing Jay ain’t no way he’s letting Gavin Guidry go anywhere.
