Get a long pipe with some moss on the end and light the moss on fire. Stick fire in the tree. Have a hose pipe or buckets of pond water nearby just in case.

Tried this tonight and the damn moss in the tree and around the nest caught a fire. Was a pain in the arse to put out because bees started coming out. My wife’s uncle was fishing and they attacked him.
