For all of you who say he will fire the DCs at the end of the season, see quote below from Les. I see him blaming the offense again and again. I think it's more likely he fires Crowton based on these quotes and others.

“We’re just not catching fire on the offensive side,” Miles said. “If we do that, it gives the defense a little momentum. We’ve done nothing to propel them.

“You have the opportunity to move the football on offense. If you’re not moving the football it puts an undue burden on the defense and takes away the momentum of the game.”

But he does have a point about the O. I haven't seen our O-Line get manhandled like that for some time.

That's a weird thing to say when Ole Miss scored on the first offensive possession of the game.

Face it - what Less is saying is that there is no way he is going to do anything about the DCs.

Does he blame the offense for the D allowing Ole Miss to march down the field to open the game? For giving up a 3rd and 17 touchdown?

I can't believe he doesn't see the defense is a major issue!

Plenty of blame on both sides of the ball. I don't see that any coaching blue ribbons should be given out to anyone this year.

Yes the OL is horrible!! I saw Bret Helms get beat 5 times yesterday. Coaches that need to take a hike:

1. Malveto
2. Studrawa (sp??)
3. Joe "CHSPC fired him" Robinson

****Remember this name Dick Bumpas DC TCU

If that's the case, and he insists
the time will come where we will have to do.
something about Les.

I did not get to watch the entire game, but I saw Ole Miss complete a pass, only to see TWO LSU defenders put their head down as if they were going to knock the OM player out of bounds,... only to see the OM player do two 360s -make both LSU guys miss and end up with a 39 yard gain.

We do not, have not learned to wrap up anyone.
BASIC TACKLING SKILLS. This has been going on since last year, but this year it has been ridiculous.

I think Les makes a change, even if he doesn't want to. Someone will talk some sense into him about this. If our D looks like this agains next year, it will be disastrous for this program... and Les.

I will believe it when I see it. It should have never been this way since Pellini left. FWIW Pellini D started failing during the SC game. Look at the loss to Kentucky and Arkansas last year. Look of CLM record for overtime. That tells alot about coaching skil.

The offense was pretty bad yesterday. Ole Miss's defense was much more physical than our offense. Helms just got beat on a lot of plays. Their linebackers came in and made a bunch of plays too. The running backs made bad decisions and never got into a rhythm. The quarterbacks were off.
