Much more robust cooling system and can run longer without worry of heat damage. Can also have larger engines and power producing capabilities.
Air cooled generators top out at about 24-26kw. Liquid cooled is hundreds of kw.
I’d be worried about an air cooled generator on a day like we’ve had in the past few weeks. 100+ temps and extended run time can be a problem.

Taffeta summed it up pretty well but note the extra maintenance on a liquid cooled unit. It’s essentially a car motor so it’ll have the extra maintenance associated with the cooling system plus the enclosure has a much larger footprint and weighs a lot more. But if you can afford the unit, it’s definitely quieter and more efficient.
