BREAKING: North Carolina 4-star Ethan Calloway has committed to #LSU.
Calloway is a Top 10 offensive tackle on @On3sports.
A Top 100 prospect and (now) the highest-ranked commit for the Tigers on On3.
This is a massive win for LSU on the East Coast.

I don’t know how the DL, DB other recruiting will eventually sort out with the new members of the staff, but Coach Brad DAVIS has been knocking it out w/ Will C, E Jones, DJ Chester, Tyree Jackson, Z Heard and now E Calloway. This dude has landed big in the trenches and that’s what it takes to be elite n the SEC. Maybe he could sprinkle some of that momentum dust on the other side. Once we get DL class moving straight, we will be solid.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pounder is the No. 215 overall prospect and No. 17 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in North Carolina.
On3 rates Calloway higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 74 overall prospect, No. 10 offensive tackle and the No. 1 player in North Carolina.

Thought it was cool to see that he referred to Carl (a player personnel guy) who found him originally and Carl is the one who led Brad Davis to Calloway. Don't see that very often, so really awesome to know guys on the staff play bigger roles in the team than their title may let on.
