I've got no issue with the proposed changes. I am of the opinion that charter guides shouldn't be allowed to catch and give their limit to clients. Many guides run both morning and afternoon trips so that's just taking that many more fish out of the population.

The limit is a daily limit not a trip limit. Guides that are doing that are already breaking the law.


ETA- had a moron in GA brag online that he got his opening day dove limit by noon, then went back out and got another limit in the evening. DNR busted his dumb arse. It was his private field so I don't even care much how many he shot, but the stupidity of bragging about it online deserves punishment alone.

The population isn't dwindling. There's a whole gulf full of them.
