Diddn't get a chance to watch the first stage until last night. Looking forward to a Tadej vs Jonas showdown. Good on Nielson for grabbing the polka dots.

Will Monday be the day the Manx Missile eclipse Eddie?

I love Marx but he ain't no Cannibal. One is a great sprinter and one is The GOAT.

Woke up super early because we have a "friendly" ride with my masters team and the young guns team I coach doing the Assualt on Mt Mitchell route. Starting at 5 to beat some of the heat. I am going to be looking back at the sag all day and my only hope is to beat the other sprinter on the masters team. Just hoping to break 7 hours since you know its a recovery day for me...

I like Van Aert vs Van der Poel tomorrow. Maybe a more versatile sprinter like Mads or Girmay. I don’t think it will be an all out sprint tomorrow.

Damn. Loves watches and a roadie. Surprised we aren't bffs.

Never did assault on Mitchell. One of the 2 rides I wanted to do in my prime I never managed.

The other was ride to the sun. I missed an opportunity to go with 2 buddies and I don't think I'll ever be in shape enough to try that one again.

Reminds me of the days training for the Bataan Memorial Death March and humping a ruck for 20 miles. Those were good times.
