You are correct, and I have proof of the opposite.

My daughter, who just graduated with a bachelor's degree in Finance, started a job two weeks ago. She had a roommate who left college in her sophomore year and became a "social media influencer". Unsatisfied that she wasn't earning a six-figure salary as a "social media influencer", she opened an Only Fans account and, according to my daughter's recounting of a conversation she recently had with her ex-roommate, the girl is pulling down over $25k a month.

So I asked my daughter if making that kind of money was that easy, was that something she would ever do. She responded, "I don't want to marry the kind of man that would think me earning a living like that is acceptable, that's why. That's not how I was raised. And I know her parents. They probably don't know what she's doing. They just think she's a social media influencer."

Made me even more proud of her than before.
