This is what happened in my marriage about two or three years into it. I was young and stupid and stayed in it. Had kids, then things got worse when she started to make good money.

Once it became impossible to meet her demands in order just to spend a few minutes with her, she then latched on to some divorced feminist friends and (thankfully) ended the marriage.

While going through the divorce, I was flat out told by my lawyer that, despite being in a position legally to have all the cards, since I was a male, I would be screwed by the system. I do well on my own, she just did better. Had the roles been reversed, she would have gotten a ton of child support from me. Double standards everywhere. I just settled on splitting everything evenly and didn't even try to get anything else. If I could go back and do it over, I would NEVER get married. I love my kids, but my marriage was a huge mistake.
