Well, I didn’t think he’d sniff the number he hit last game on short rest.

This rest is even shorter and his abnormal workload games have started to pile up. I’m curious to see how they use him.

I think it would be cool to end the season as champions with him on the mound

I would watch how he looks and make decisions there. Because the truth js, from a statistical analysis approach, throwing him zero pitches tomorrow or 120 doesn’t make a difference in injury prevention

Agreed. And I think he AT LEAST closes the game. But that may also be ALL he does at this point.

The more I think about it, I think CJJ hesitates to put him in as long as possible to protect him and see what we get from Herring and Hurd. If things start to derail, we could possibly see some mid-relief with Cooper closing.
