I want to see him pitch and I want the team to win the championship. But I honestly believe letting him pitch is coaching malpractice and will prevent future high level prospects from coming to LSU

It is a lot of pitches, but Skenes is a little different. Previous to this year, when he wasn’t pitching, he was the everyday catcher. His arm and body are conditioned to a big workload, and this is the college World Series. I have to believe if he has anything in the tank, he will be available.

That’s a retarded take!

Dealing with an Elite / World Class All WORLD Athlete that has proven to be on a different level of elite.

Who has been dreaming of winning this trophy, dreaming of this moment & the reason he came to LSU to give him that chance.

If SKENES says “coach, I feel great & I want to start, you start the man”

PERIOD, end of story! Everyone with all their opinions should just suit back and see what the professionals say & what Skenes says.

And IMO, he wants his destiny in his own hands.

And for the record, yes, I have coached legit ball in my life, not some armchair fan.

Once you get to that level and with WINNER TAKES ALL, there’s an IT FACTOR with Elite Athletes, it’s where legends are born

And I believe getting to game 3 of the CWS finals encourages them to come
