Not really, in fact, a lot of teams now have a quicker hook on their starters in the playoffs and you don't really see anyone going on short rest anymore.

In the 2016 MLB playoffs, Kershaw pitched in 5 games over 15 days. He started 4 of them.
In the 2019 playoffs, Justin Verlander started 6 games over 25 days and threw a total of 608 pitches.
I don’t know why we’re comparing midseason pitch counts in the MLB to postseason pitch counts in college baseball
