Nah. Prime Tyson was very scary and one of the best but he wasn’t on the same level with the prime versions of guys like Ali, Foreman, or Lewis.
In addition to his legal troubles, Tyson also had the misfortune of ruling the division at a weak moment in time. Not a lot of competition there… and one of the competitors, Holyfield, outclassed him anyway.
Yes. Prime Holyfield beats Prime Tyson. I just don’t see how Tyson can be propped up as the best heavyweight when his Kryptonite was the Cruiserweight champ at the time.
Time has been very kind to Tyson’s reputation.
