Tyson was small for a heavyweight, and had problems with guys who weren't scared of him. A lot of guys he fought were beaten before the introductions

Not really small for the era he came up in. Tyson was fast, powerful with all punches, busy and had a great chin. He was about as good as it gets before he became nationally visible. The problem is people who never saw him in his prime just comment on his post prime career when he was a completely different boxer from every technical aspect down to not even having a proper boxing stance.
