Griddle/Blackstone cover options

I received a 28" Blackstone for father's day. It didn't come with a lid or cover of any kind. I understand that, unless using the griddle darn near every day, some type of covering is a must. I plan to store it under a covered porch area. Should I buy a hinged lid, large cover (the kind that drapes to the floor, or do I need both?
Thanks
Thanks

I've been looking into the silicone cover.
Griddle Buddy griddle mat.
Even with the metal lid that came with mine bugs and dust still finds a way in.

We have a couple of pots we keep outside at camp and they stay k. Just clean it, dry on burner then wipe it down with a paper towel and a little oil. (I use Pam but there are much better things)

This is crazy, I was just looking at Amazon before coming to this board and saw the silicone covers and ordered one. I have the large canvas cover but find it too cumbersome to use as often as the Blackstone gets used. Glad to see others recommend the silicone cover.

My small one has the hinged lid on it, and it stays on our screen porch. No issues. If it was out near the edge of the porch and might get moisture, I would get a cover for it, but for now, I just clean and oil it and shut the cover. Been that way for 2.5 years with no rust issues.
