I cannot fathom how a school like LSU doesn’t have a single pitcher who can throw a strike beyond Skenes. That is completely unacceptable.
Ack and Coop played well above their level yesterday and I appreciate that, but outside of Skenes they all are walk machines.

I don’t like pulling money here. If Thompson was shifted the first single could’ve been a double play. The second batter was almost a double play. He could have chewed up some outs. We need more than just the next out.
