Same thing happens in Alaska.

Still struggle to attract people to work despite the opportunity. Apprenticeships require classwork, I don't really see them any different than a paid 4 year training program.

The Gold mines locally pay an avg o 120k, state pays training and they can't keep up with labor demand.
