There’s no doubt in my mind CJJ and PS sat down and discussed a plan so he can pitch 3x in Omaha including game 3 on Monday if necessary in the championship series.
To answer your question, if we pitch him Wednesday, he pitches on 4 days rest which is plenty. You know they’re icing the hell put of that 8-figure arm as we speak!
If I’m a coach, I’m pitching him tomorrow and that way he gets the 5 days rest in the championship series if we even need him!

Do you really think Jay is contemplating a scenario where he may not throw his best pitcher at all in a championship series?
