BREAKING: The Washington Wizards are trading three-time All-Star Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, a handful of second-round picks, and multiple pick swaps, league sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

I don’t understand the fit, but have to admire them for going for it.

What are the wizards doing? They really couldn’t get Herro? Strange.

Miami probably backed out, Wizards wanted Robinson, Jovic and all their 1st rounders, yet took a poo poo platter from Phoenix.

Makes running it back even dumber now.

Nobody is beating that team. Maybe Denver.

Just learned something interesting and maybe corruption, Beal’s agent is the son of Phoenix’s CEO.

Idk Beal has been injury prone for a while now. KD is old. And Bookers hamstrings are made of paper. All guys worth about 50 mil each. They’re gonna have to sign a lot of gleague level players to fill out the roster

If teams played with 2 basketballs on the court at a time I would agree with you, but yeah this makes Phoenix worse IMO.

They’ve killed any sort of move they would have to add depth, they have 4 guys and nothing else.

They still have Ayton.

Halfcourt they will destroy anything you run at them. In fact if Ayton stops being a baby back bitch they got that on lock too.

Wizards: Ahhhh yes, we just happened to give our all star up for no 1st round picks

Nothing to do with Beal’s agent being the father of the Suns CEO

No tampering going on here whatsoever

Agreed. You need depth. Look at Denver with Brown and Braun. Heat with Robinson, Lowry and Martin. They played huge roles.

The Suns now only have four players under guaranteed contracts: Kevin Durant Devin Booker Bradley Beal Deandre Ayton $161.5M total for those four and not much flexibility to make more changes.

They may not have Ayton for long, they’re right at the tax with just those 4 guys and they have nobody else under contract, and with the new CBA they lose their MLE, so all they have is minimum contracts they can fill the roster with.

Not a good move with two of the 4 injury prone, and another one susceptible to hamstring injuries and missing alot of time.

Yall are out your minds if you dont think they wont get some Cheap Vet Min FA's to get on the chip train.

Players 5-7 dont mean shite in the playoffs. It's who has the most amount of talent at the end of the day.

No Chris Paul getting on his case might help there but its also another guy taking shots from him but not facilitating for him like Paul did. If they can trade Ayton to like the Hawks for Capela, Bey, and more parts that moves they needle more than what they are now IMO.
