I don’t think I’ve watched any of normand’s stand up but every other comic raves about him and how quickly he churns out new material

I’m not a fan of when comics rely on crowd work nonstop to fill up time.
Matt Rife and Stavros are the most overt in their use of crowd work, especially to make easy jokes at the expense of the audience.
Normand doesn’t do as much crowd work and when he does, he at least goes in a different direction than those guys.
ETA: he really is at his best on those morning shows though
