I've had some epic early season trips but there is an exclusive list of resorts I will plan a pre-Christmas trip to. Banff, Vail, Copper, Aspen, Alta and Snowbird. Those resorts either are far north, get a ton of snow or make a ton of snow.

Crystal has had some excellent December skiing the past few years, same with baker and Snoqualmie. This year is a different story
