I don’t like the championship or bust mentality. Especially in baseball where shite happens and the “better” team doesn’t always win.

That said, I’d consider it a good year so far… very Good year if we are one of the final 4 teams standing, and a great year if we’re one of the final 2 teams standing. Excellent year if we’re the champs.

This team is squarely in the mix to win it all, and that’s all we can ask for as a fan.

The championship or bust mentality just puts so much pressure on college kids that is incredibly unwarranted and they won't be capable of living up to it. Think about that. These kids have been playing every day thinking we've got to win a title or the fan base will hate us lol and these are some of the best players in the country. They made Omaha. Go out there and give it your all and see what happens. It's a successful season to end in Omaha.
