This was my take on foie gras. Initially "Wow, this is delicious!" Then it just felt like chewing on a piece of steak fat that kept getting bigger. One bite was enough.

My wife and I went to Stella! For an anniversary and they had a tasting menu…one of the courses was a Foie Gras BLT…she pics it up all happy like and takes a huge bite. I saw the full range of emotions through her eyes…which by the time she swallowed it were crying I’m pretty sure.
We still joke about it, and she’s damn sure never had foie gras again.
