I paid less than $20 for the replacement parts. I’m troubleshooting a problem. I would rather figure this out and learn a little about small engine repairs before I spend money. Money is tight for a lot of people right now.

If it starts and runs after replacing all that it's most probably a carb adjustment (like others have said).

I purchased a set of tools off Amazon just for that purpose as chainsaws and weedeaters sometimes require very odd shaped carb adjusting tools.

For the aftermarket carb that doesn't work?

I understand completely. I am the same way with electronics. But from experience I can tell you that if this

is the motivation to DIY it doesn't work out well more often than not. I justify it by seeing the value in the knowledge gained, so if that's your goal then props to you.
