RR is more of a big play guy where Benton is more of a possession type receiver from what I remember. Then again, it's been awhile since I've seen Benton.

we have some good young WRs already. so yeah.

He is a must have in the sense of being the best player in the state

He isnt a must have in terms of LSU football at the WR position

Benton is an excellent reciever. Very good blocker. He's not as fast as Rueben but
I think he is a lot more shifty. Both have great hands. I think Rueben is more likely to beat you deep and Benton is more likely to make a big play out of a short catch. Both are great recievers. Benton goes for the kill on blocks. I'm not saying Ruben is not a good blocker but with playing QB we didn't get to see that part of his game this year.

..and out of all of them, I'm more anxious to see Deangelo Patterson. Kid definitely looks like a beast.

Yep. If we get Benton on campus, LaFell to stay his senior year and a constant burning candle in Lee's head then the SEC better look the frick out. I'll take JoJo, T.Toliver, C.Tolliver, Benton, D.PETERSON (not Patterson), J. Mithcell, C.Mitchell, Jhyryn Taylor, Tim Molton. That's one hell of a WR corps. Not to mention if we can get Debose and Bell to get in here.

Either way you look at it, RR starts from day 1.

I will be sick if RR goes elsewhere, and wins a heisman trophy.

Won't happen at Alabama. Nick doesn't play a wide open offense.

You can be the best receiver in the nation, but if you don't have a quarterback that can get him the ball then it doesn't matter. aka Alabama. When we sign Shep we will have a good QB who can both run and pass. Lee will also be a different person next year. I am a firm believer in taking kids that want to be at LSU.

Why don't RR follow Julio Jones' lead and stay at home with LSU. JJ did not want to be second fiddle to crabtree why would RR want to be second fiddle to JJ.
