quote:Just like we are seeing in Colorado and Georgia right now. Pro economy Republican politics create a strong economy. People move there to be a part of a strong economy. Politics begin to shift as people begin to think they can bring about utopian laws to couple with the strong economy to make the place 'perfect'. Utopian laws begin creating anti-business environments. Businesses downsize or move as taxes and inflation get out of hand.
How did they manage to get so many consistently stupid people in the same geographic area?
This is why Texas and Florida will be blue at some point without the Hispanic voting block sticking to traditional values. Your parents/grandparents didn't see California becoming deep blue in the 70's and 80's the same way a lot of people say Texas and Florida won't turn Blue.

Georgia
Is still a very red state.
Both houses and the governor/Lt.Gov are all Republican.
