No but most argued Jay made a process decision and regardless of the end results there was logic behind it. So when it worked out you can’t say well because things actually broke his way it was lucky.

No one has yet been able to adequately explain the process or results that would lead to this decision given the expectation of no delays.

Not so much lucky, it just didn’t really matter in the end. It didn’t help or hurt. But you saw where the game was trending before the rain delay. Ore St is too good to not save Skenes. And Tulane was too bad of a team to waste him

And far more accomplished coaches than CJJ would have made a different decision. Were they making illogical decisions?

So again, was it good planning to have your two best pitchers pitch a combined 3 innings against the best competition in the regional? That was the plan?

And no I'm not arguing to fire CJJ. No sober person was. Hope he's here a long time and wins more championships than Skip and Paul combined.
