Wife and I went. It was the first time. We didn't register for any of the events so we went where we wanted and did what we wanted to do. No agenda was great. We belong to Louisiana Jeepers and we ran into several from our group. From what we've seen stated, they estimated 4,000-5,000 Jeeps. Yeah, there were Jeeps that, in my opinion, were over the top on accessories. But we notice that there were a lot of old, classic Jeeps. We saw a lot of CJ's that were restored. We even saw one old Army Jeep and a few 1957 Jeep trucks that I've never seen before.
Curious if they have people there looking to sell their Jeeps or is that prohibited? I’d like to get an 80’s model to bang around in

Lots had For Sale signs.
The Jeep culture is a bit nutty…but I didn’t see any dust ups or people acting out. They seemed to be dressed nicer than the Cruisin’ crowd, and they actually went to restaurants instead of bringing an ice chest and sitting on the side of the street.
I don’t think BSL was the focus this year, as it has been in the past. They’ve done beach rides down here, but this year I didn’t see the harbor, or any place, blocked off…but maybe I missed it.
