They may have sent them through basic training and taught them how to operate an AK, but there's no way those guys are going to be combat effective with that little training.

What they meant was that they drafted 1.5m and will throw them in to combat. They expect 300,000 to survive and then be well trained.

Obviously, this should all be taken with a grain of salt, as it might be as real as the Ukraine Spring Offensive, but these are supposed to be the callups from last Fall.

I assume these are the reservists who were called up in the Fall of 22. Some were sent to the front lines to stabilize the defense, but the bulk have been in training since then.
