If we had a question about lsu baseball history, I’ll turn to these guys over some of the others on that list even though the others played. Bill Franques never played but don’t you think he knows a thing or two about LSU baseball?

It’s good to have access to a mix of guys who used to play both at LSU and in MLB, while supplementing that with the others who have closely followed and had media access to the participating players and coaches for such a long time. You get good insight from all of them.

Edit: I did leave Moscona off this time

walking distance to a Sonic? Sounds like you may be one of those poors. We are a few hours apart. we don't allow Sonics in our small coastal town. Maybe some day we meet up at Sonic in Hammond. Might be the mid-point. In the meantime, enjoy your limeade before heading back to your double wide

That’s really offensive to people that live in trailers pal. I’ve got a nice 2 story with a pond and a pool. And a baseball trophy I won last night. Also I see you’re scared??

Could have been the right call for hai teams each year he did it. Nobody really knows except him.

Of course it was the right call for his teams because pitching your ace in the 1-0 game gives you the best chance to win.

As his teams always did going unbeaten in 1-0 games as a 1 seed.

Theriot is a former LSU and MLB player who grew up here. Theriot has good insight.

Moscona, I agree. His baseball takes are worthless.

Musso is the youngest (I think) but he does great with research. I like listening to his series previews and get the lowdown on opponents key hitters and bullpen arms.

Like I said, all of them bring something different to the table. We LSU baseball fans are lucky to have as much content to follow our team as we have.

I am quite scared, Jake. Luckily, I can escape my fears while I sip beer on my front porch overlooking The Gulf. A porch that more than likely has more square footage than your entire house.

Congrats on the trophy

Know what funny? We know the last time LSU threw our ace in game 1 at home was 1999 against ULM and Ben Sheets.

But what happened in game 2? We lost without our ace in that game. Seems like more ammo to the “save Skenes” crowd.

Just to be clear, you won a "little league championship" on a Friday, on June 2nd.

Hook too shiny.

Yes

We did come back and beat them twice in the championship round to advance. Pretty sure Ainsworth came back on short rest in the last game to help out.

I do think it’s funny the amount of people that are on here say Jay was right before the game that proves whether he is right or wrong is even played..
