When I was 15 my grandmother had been ill and in ICU for sometime. They knew her time was coming to an end and they allowed all the grankids to go in a couple at a time. My cousin and I were in for a brief visit and before we left he told her "See you tomorrow" and her reply was "No you wont". After everyone made their visit she passed away. That was 30 years ago and I still hear those words very clearly.

Reminds me of a story my mom tells about my father's mother. My parents were divorced but my mom still routinely called my grandmother for her giblet gravy recipe. She had cancer and told her to write it down one year because she may not be there the next, she was right.
