sooo I was just offered LSU tickets for the game this weekend. I have to work, but I can go in on Sunday so no big deal, my prob is that my niece is having her first birthday party at 2pm the games starts at 2:30 and i'm 2 hours away. So if I go to the game and not her party I'll be seen as the biggest B%^&h on the planet. What would you do? And no offers to take them off my hands your not getting them
oh and my kids will be going to the party, so someone from the house will be there

Simple,
Just buy her something realy nice (like a pony) and go to the game.

I'd pull a Luther Davis. Tell them you have to go to a funeral and then go to the game instead.
Make sure you get her a nice gift though.

1. Sell your ticket at the face value
2. Go to your niece's birthday party
3. Watch the game on TV at her house ( doesn't need cable for this game, b/c it's on CBS)
4. Buy me a coffee from the money that you sold the ticket
5. Problem is solved.
6. You're welcome

Geaux to the game...have a great time, cause you're going to be paying for it for the near future.
No excuses..no stories, just send your regrets and a nice reminder of how much you love her and LSU football.
By the way...good luck on that.

Your neice will never remember her first birthday, more or less who was there, and you will always remember the Ole Miss/LSU game from 2008.
You're welcome.

Easy fix. Honesty is priority.
If you have a relationship with the kid, tell her you have tickets to the game and you will go to the game, then you and her will go somewhere the following weekend to celebrate her b-day. She wins extra b-day celebration and you are the cool one. She'll be spacing during the party, just wondering what you'll do next weekend. If you have no relationship with her, get her a gift that looks nice and matches her age, then tell her, "Sorry hon, Aunt Alicia can't make it to the party, but you have fun though! mkay?"

Couples should have sex during football season so they won't have kids who have b'day parties during football season.

Its a niece, go see her on friday, go to the game.

Definitely go to the game. The baby's never gonna know or remember that you're not there and sure you may piss some people off but since they're not even your blood they'll just have to get over it. In-laws never come before Tiger football.
