How so? Why would I care if the federal government defaulted? Sounds like a problem for Democrats. They campaigned on the 87,000 IRS agents. All they could was cut them 1%?
Sounds like capitulation, not compromise to me. The problem with Republicans, is our leaders all look and sound like McCarthy. Pathetic, weak, emasculated, little imps. They have no idea how to lead, and are constantly led by screeching Democrats and leftist media attack dogs.

Jesus! I don't really know, but it seems to me that it could have horrific wealth-destroying consequences. Would you be hurt if the stock market lost 70% of it's value? Would it? Maybe.
