We are going to Dallas/Grapvine area on June 7th with a 6 and 3 year old (girls) to visit Peppa Pig land and Lego land. Any other suggestions of things to do with the kids in the area? Any hotel recommendations around Grapevine also? Thanks.

Great Wolf is massively overpriced unless you're never leaving the hotel. The Gaylord is pretty fun, and cheaper. I don't know if the Gaylord's water "parks" are open yet, but it is a great place to base out of. Grapevine is kind of a quasi-upscale retail area, and not much else. There's an aquarium in the same shopping center as Lego Land, that would be on point for kids that age.

National Video Game Museum in Frisco. The Sci-Tech discovery center is also right there in the same building.

Fort Worth stockyards

If you’re in Grapevine, consider going to the Stockyards by Vintage Train. You won’t get to spend a lot of time at the Stockyards before you have to return but with a couple of small kids, it might be long enough. If you get tickets for the train, for the love of God, get tickets in the air conditioned cars.

There used to be an aquarium by Lego and there’s a Rainforest Cafe nearby.

They’re constantly adding new stuff around the entertainment area in The Colony. Hawaiian Falls is a fun water park the kids might enjoy and y’all can have a famous hotdog from Portillo’s.
