How many rank teams did they beat?
How did they perform against anyone word a shite? I mean they went 1-4 vs the SEC, 3 of those were to Ole Miss.
They would be a bottom feeder in the SEC.
No one is scared of Maryland’s inflated stats vs trash baseball.

Any relief coming out of the bullpen and playing Maryland a second game since you don't have Skenes. Their bats on paper give them possibility you can see meltdowns from the bullpen since they can rake.
Their numbers are good. I haven't seen them play but they look good on paper.

As someone who attended both schools, I would love to host the other LA teams that make the field.
I think some other interesting matchups that the committee could use to create storylines would be sending Arizona to face their previous coach or Air Force to set up a potential Skenes vs his old team.

The guy is a little off. He’s never seen them play, but he knows they can rake. Now somehow Maryland beat Skenes the first game and we’re facing them again without Floyd.

I mean you can look at them on paper they look pretty impressive to me. I know stats don't tell the story but they could've easily got better as the season progressed. If you look at their numbers lately it seems they are getting better.
Easily could be a dangerous 2 seed. They're not playing in the Southland conference that for some bizarre reason this board is pissing their pants over. LSU should rake Nicholls over the hot coals with their #3 against their #1.

Hurd probably going to pitch first game against a 4 seed. Guess it depends on who we draw. Could also use Floyd if it's against someone like Nicholls but I think that would be stupid, IMO. If you can't dig into your bullpen to beat a 4 seed you don't deserve to make the trip to Omaha anyway.

Deuce you have to remember these are some of the same people who said we were gonna beat Ark and Texas A&M in the non important SEC tournament . The way LSU has played the last half of the season any regional and super regional is gonna be tuff.

They’re a 2 seed from the Big 10, ranked 37 in RPI. They haven't beaten anyone that’s impressive. No worried. Plus they get Skenes second game, IF they beat the 3 seed.

I mean he has point I haven't seen them play. I don't know how good they are. I'm just saying on paper they look like a dangerous 2 seed. They're not playing in a small conference. Stony Brook sure did live up to their numbers. They raked in their regional and then raked on LSU who had Nola, Eades, and Gaussman that year. Let that sink in.
A different situation I know since they were a lower seed but the point is a team like Maryland isn't a 2 seed because they're a snowflake. They're MORE than capable of beating LSU. Any 2 seed can.

Maryland is no where near Arkansas and A&M’s level. And how did we lose those games? One run, shooting ourselves in the foot. In a non-important tournament, your words.

Yeah they were both playing better at the end of the year and LSU was not. LSU is trending down not up. You people act like there is no way we can lose. Step down from your purple/gold high horse. There are several teams that could give us issues. Maryland won’t be a cake walk.
