I've been thinking of downsiIng to a maverick, because I like the idea of still being able to use a bed. But holy hell those things are marked up

I just looked at it like this. I have some financial goals I want to meet...essentially I want to buy a camp for my kids to go hunting and fishing in their youth like I did.

I need to start saving for that now, so when they're 7/8 we are on the water.

If I continue to save $1,000 a month for the next 6/7 years instead of buying a Suburban or continue to pay for the truck...I'm $75-$80,000 there...buying a boat cash, down payment on the camp and still probably paying less than $1,000.00 a month in note for the camp.

My kids don't have grandparents like I did to make all that happen, so it's got to be me.

Driving the Camry back and forth to work for a few years makes it a reality.

Youve got to put in the work. I ended up getting mine in mobile for under msrp.
