yep,I know exactly what the problem is,our guys are looking for pitches to drive,not just hittables ,hr`s are exiting,but we would be better off with contact hitters that are a hard out like stoney brook was.

Driving a pitch is hitting it hard. Not necessarily hitting a home run.
You swing at a pitch you can drive, not just because it’s a strike. That’s how you end up with a weak arse ground ball and get turned two.

The problem the last couple games was watching the good fastball early in the count and getting in a breaking ball count.
