We have really taken some strange at bats lately.
Lots of first pitch fastballs that we don’t offer at.


Is there any chance Jay is forcing some hitters to go after the breaking balls right now?

Jay wants his hitters to work counts and get deep at bats.

That’s great for some hitters. Guys like Crews, White, Morgan even Beloso to an extent are fine behind in the count and can put tough pitches in play.

I disagree with forcing guys like Jones, Jobert and Travinski to do it. They need to be fastball hunting whether it’s the first pitch or the 10th pitch.
