Anyone starting to actually worry about Dylan Crews?

I know he is great — this is not a post to crap on him.
However, I am starting to worry that this slump is going to roll into the post season and could negatively impact how our season ends.

He had two hits and a walk yesterday and neither of his hits were his hardest hit ball. He’s fine.

Whatever happens in the post season will never fall on Crews’ shoulders.

He went 2-4 yesterday?

All it takes is one hit to turn someone back on. You lose confidence in yourself and one big hit will get rid of that immediately

Crews has had a bit in 6 straight games. No I'm not.

I’m not gonna take a lot away from any games we play in Hoover this week. It was good to see Hurd pitch well and glad we got a win. I hope we keep winning, but honestly I’m good. Crews will turn it on for the games next week that matter

I mean it’s definitely a concern. Having your best player slumping as you go into the postseason is never ideal. With that being said, he can turn it around at any time, so we really just have to wait and see.

You’re ignorant if you don’t think he’s still slumping.

Could be that opposing teams have figured out how to pitch to him.

He’s turned into a singles guy. You expect the best hitter in the draft to be more explosive.
He just looks worn out.

I predict he lights the candle once he gets away from SEC umps.
Balls call strikes can zap your confidence.
The slump will end on the big stage.

There is likely a physiological reason for the change. Medication, otc or otherwise, supplements, dietary changes, or perhaps some visual difficulties. Typical slumps do not follow the pattern he has show .

More worried about Skenes losing his mojo tonight. Couldn’t consistently get a ball past anyone. I hope that doesn’t F his head up heading into postseason.

He was on a pitch count in a game that doesn’t actually really matter. I’m exponentially less worried about him that Crews and I’m not even really that concerned about Crews
