Didn't he have kind of a unique story where he was an illegitimate child of a purported professional baseball player and the mother put him up for adoption and told his parents to "foster his baseball talents" due to his biological dad?

And here we are. Genetics is crazy.

Not sure if his father was a professional, the story mentions “family”…

In Alex's biological family there are professional baseball players," Renee said. "So when he was born his biological mom did tell me and his dad Craig, 'if he picks up a ball, make sure you foster that.'"
